Don’t Forget the Smoke Detectors
It’s that time of year again; time to change our clocks back, and also time to change the batteries of our smoke detectors.
Its also a good idea to clean out the dust, dirt, bugs and cobwebs to make sure they function properly. You can clean your detectors with a vacuum cleaner brush attachment or you can also use canned air to blow out the debris. You should also check the date on the back of your smoke detector, because most manufacturers recommend that you replace the whole unit after 10 years.
